Richard is originally from Texas and moved to California in 1958.  He has a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Theatre from California Baptist College and received his teaching credentials from the University of Riverside, California.  For nearly a decade he was a public school teacher in Riverside before he opened his own touring theatre company.  In 2000, he received his Juris Doctorate from California Southern Law School and today practices law.  He is a writer for the Riverside Lawyer Magazine and the Los Angeles Journal.  Additionally, he is active in Republican Politics and is an elected member of the Republican Central Committee of Riverside County. He still loves theatre and has served on the board of the Riverside Dickens Festival.
