The 1st Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that you can’t sue just because your offended by looking at something. An idiot in Cranston, R.I filed a suit because she says she was offended by a Christmas display at the Cranston City Hall.
The idiot Grace C. Osediacz sued the city of saying that the religious displays—erected along with secular displays by members of the public in an area designated by the city—violate the so-called “separation of church and state.”
What Grace failed to realize is that she had no stake in this and the displays by members of the public do not establish a religon.
What offends me is that no one can say “Merry Christmas” during the holidays. I’m offended that the minority has more say than the majority. That anyone can claim they are offended and the courts have ruled in their favor.
